thanks very much for the details on strines fishing waters it was very helpfull
it was the other waters that i wanted to find out about and yes it is the one further up the road   but he says he is thinking about joining strines again  so some good has come out of this  hope this has kept people amused and thanks again to all concerned '<img'>

Going for three pages ......

Are we talking about the pool just on the left before the road bridge across the Goyt after Strines as you are walking, running, jogging, hopping away from Marple?

right eeyore21 dont you start on me... after speaking to my mother at dinner, i now know that he wants to become a member of strines again and that the fishing water that he wants to know about is further up on the main road into new mills.
