Remembrance Service in Marple Memorial Park:

10.15am - Standard bearers and the public to assemble at the War Memorial in Memorial Park.
10.30am - Service to commence.

Thank you to David Burridge for standing in for Arthur, who was at the service for Veterans in Westminster Abbey.

Today Friends of Marple Memorial Park have secured the wreaths around the War Memorial to stop them blowing away. Don't they look great in the sunshine! It was lovely to see Brabyns Prep pupils doing their "Who Was I?" cards while we were there too.
