Title: The Edge
Post by: Heritage on March 10, 2012, 08:53:03 PM
We revisited an old haunt today which doesn't get much publicity these days, The Edge opposite The Navigation. Early Bird set menu: great quality cooking, only let down by a slightly rubbery rhubarb tart for pudding, but friendly and good value. And thankfully not a godawful processed chicken nugget in the building - just proper food. Well worth a visit especially on that Early Bird deal, which runs until 7.30pm Weds to Saturday.  :)

I enjoyed the food at the Edge but the layout is amlittle
Strange. Wed called in before with the bar area empty only to be told
They were full. When we returned later, the restaurant area is only a few tables yet they have a huge redundant area downstairs.
