George Cope

The Secretary is George Cope.
After a working life sitting behind a desk working as a Solicitor, George opted on retirement for an outdoor life and is a Tameside Country Ranger, running health walks and teaching Country skills. Educated at LSE he is a mine of useless information, and leader of our successful quiz team. He is a keen member of his Church in Haughton Green and gives the occasional sermon and runs youth groups. His forte over the previous secretary is the ability to spell!
