IS APPEALING FOR VOLUNTEER DRIVERS..

TO TAKE LOCAL PEOPLE WHO CANNOT USE PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO HOSPITAL OR OTHER MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS

We have been offering our service for 35 years BUT we can only continue as long as we can maintain a group of owner-drivers willing to give a little of their time in offering lifts to others.

• No regular commitment asked for

• Drive as and when convenient

• No lifting or wheelchair carriage

• Drivers are paid a mileage allowance

A little bit of your time can make a real difference to someone else. We may all appreciate such a service ourselves, before long.

Do you need transport to attend your medical, dental or other necessary appointments or visits?

Are you without access to transport of any type? Or do you have difficulty with, or unable to use public transport through illness, disability or frailty etc?

We are the "Marple Christian Care" organisation, and for 35 years we have been helping local people who have no means of personal transport, or are unable to access or use public transport.

Our drivers use their own cars and their is no charge for this service. Our expenses are met by donations kindly made to "MARPLE CHRISTIAN CARE".

If you feel we can be of assistance to you, please either CALL IN at: MARPLE LIBRARY on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between 10.00am and 12.30pm and talk to our volunteer at the "MARPLE CHRISTIAN CARE" desk,
