MARPLE
 CRICKET & SQUASH CLUB

Would welcome new members.....

The cricket club has been at its Bowden Lane site since 1951.

The cricket section runs four competitive senior teams in the Cheshire County League, the first XI playing in the First Division, the third XI playing Sundays only and the over-40's playing midweek and evenings.

In addition, junior teams compete at U-17, U-15, U-13 and U-11 age groups, with qualified coaching available and excellent practice facilities.

During the winter months, indoor nets are arranged.

New members are welcome and will find great opportunities for self expression and improvement in the greatest game of all!

For much more information, including team details and results visit the club's own web site.

The squash section has three courts which were introduced in 1975 and runs two mens teams in the  North West Counties Squash League, divisions Four and Five and two ladies teams in the North West Counties Ladies Squash League, divison two.

Club night is on Wednesdays. There are internal leagues and anyone interested in taking part should just come along and will be most welcome.

The club house has a large hall available for club functions or for hire.

Currently it is used for a tots' play school, for aerobic and fitness classes, for line dancing, weddings, parties, concerts, meetings, dinners and other special events.

There is a newly refurbished bar to support this and a social membership category for all adult age groups eager to expand and make new friendships.
