Movers is a borough wide activity scheme for pre-school children
organised jointly by the Sport Development Section of Community
Services and Sports Trust. The scheme helps develop physical activity in children through a programme of planned activities. Not only are sessions great fun but the children also have the opportunity to play with each other and work towards an Award Scheme with lots of exciting activities. Pre-school children are welcome here. Children can play with assortment of toys, playdoh, jigsaws, books, games etc. There are soft toys for babies and play mats. We sing with the children at 10.30am which is followed by refreshments (tea, coffee and fruit loaf/biscuits for adults, drinks and biscuits for kids). After this we do some craft. SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TERM WE HAVE HAD AN AMAZING INCREASE IN NUMBERS SO PLEASE COME EARLY WE DON'T WANT TO TURN ANY REGULARS AWAY!!! FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS WE NEED TO LIMIT OUR NUMBERS AND AT THE MOMENT WE HAVE REACHED CAPACITY. |
