| Local Children's Groups and Activities |
This page was created at the suggestion of Paula, a regular visitor to the site, who had a baby in early 2001 and had been looking for this kind of information in a number of places. It is compiled from information within the public domain.
Special thanks to Sue Clarke for her help setting this page up and to all the local mums who have helped to keep it up-to-date by advising me of changes and additions.
If you are aware of any details that are incorrect or out of date, please get in touch. If you are involved with an organisation that you think should appear in this list, please get in touch too. mark@marple-uk.com

Woodcraft is part of a national voluntary organisation which works
with children aged 6 to 20. So far we have a small Elfin Group (6-9
years) and we meet weekly in New Mills. We get kids
together and do creative work, drama, dance and outdoor activities.
It's a sort of alternative to scouts or guides.
We welcome new members and hope that parents will also get involved. |
